Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, September 2019
Electricity generation (production) decreased by 0,5% year-on-year in September 2019. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 2,2% in September 2019 compared with August 2019. This followed month-on-month changes of -1,8% in August 2019 and -1,4% in July 2019. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 1,8% in the third quarter of 2019 compared with the second quarter of 2019.
Electricity distribution (consumption) decreased by 1,3% year-on-year in September 2019. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 3,3% month-on-month in September 2019, following month-on-month changes of -2,5% in August 2019 and -0,6% in July 2019. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 1,8% in the third quarter of 2019 compared with the second quarter of 2019.
