Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, August 2019
Electricity generation (production) decreased by 2,4% year-on-year in August 2019. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 1,5% in August 2019 compared with July 2019. This followed month-on-month changes of -1,4% in July 2019 and 0,4% in June 2019. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 0,4% in the three months ended August 2019 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) decreased by 4,7% year-on-year in August 2019. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 2,2% month-on-month in August 2019, following month-on-month changes of -0,6% in July 2019 and -0,8% in June 2019. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 1,2% in the three months ended August 2019 compared with the previous three months.
