Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, May 2019
Electricity generation (production) decreased by 0,6% year-on-year in May 2019. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 0,5% in May 2019 compared with April 2019. This followed month-on-month changes of 3,2% in April 2019 and -1,3% in March 2019. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 0,3% in the three months ended May 2019 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity
distribution (consumption) decreased by 1,3% year-on-year in May 2019.
Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution was flat month-on-month in May
2019, following month-on-month changes of 3,0% in April 2019 and -1,5% in March 2019. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by
0,6% in the three months ended May 2019 compared with the previous three
months.
