Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, April 2024
Electricity generation (production) increased by 5,7%
year-on-year in April 2024. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation
increased by 1,2% in April 2024 compared with March 2024. This followed
month-on-month changes of -0,1% in March 2024 and 1,6% in February 2024.
Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 1,0% in the three
months ended April 2024 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) increased by 6,2% year-on-year in April 2024. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 1,8% month-on-month in April 2024, following month-on-month changes of -0,7% in March 2024 and 0,5% in February 2024. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,4% in the three months ended April 2024 compared with the previous three months.
