Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, June 2024
Electricity generation (production) increased by 5,4% year-on-year in June 2024. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 2,3% in June 2024 compared with May 2024. This followed month-on-month changes of ‑0,5% in May 2024 and 1,2% in April 2024. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 2,1% in the second quarter of 2024 compared with the first quarter of 2024.
Electricity distribution (consumption)
increased by 3,3% year-on-year in June 2024. Seasonally adjusted electricity
distribution increased by 0,7% month-on-month in June 2024, following
month-on-month changes of -0,6% in May 2024 and 1,8% in April 2024. Seasonally
adjusted electricity distribution increased by 1,3% in the second quarter of
2024 compared with the first quarter of 2024.
