Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, May 2024
Electricity generation
(production) increased by 5,6% year-on-year in May 2024. Seasonally adjusted electricity
generation decreased by 0,5% in May 2024 compared with April 2024. This
followed month-on-month changes of 1,2% in April 2024 and 0,0% in March 2024.
Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 1,1% in the three
months ended May 2024 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption)
increased by 4,8% year-on-year in May 2024. Seasonally adjusted electricity
distribution decreased by 0,6% month-on-month in May 2024, following
month-on-month changes of 1,8% in April 2024 and -0,7% in March 2024.
Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,2% in the three
months ended May 2024 compared with the previous three months.
