Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, October 2023
Electricity generation
(production) increased by 1,6% year-on-year in October 2023. Seasonally
adjusted electricity generation increased by 3,7% in October 2023 compared with
September 2023. This followed month-on-month changes of -0,4% in September 2023
and 1,0% in August 2023. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased
by 2,0% in the three months ended October 2023 compared with the previous three
months.
Electricity
distribution (consumption) increased by 1,0% year-on-year in October 2023.
Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 3,9% month-on-month
in October 2023, following month-on-month changes of -1,5% in September 2023
and 1,1% in August 2023. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased
by 1,1% in the three months ended October 2023 compared with the previous three
months.
