Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, September 2023
Electricity generation (production) decreased by 1,0% year-on-year in September 2023. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 0,9% in September 2023 compared with August 2023. This followed month-on-month changes of 0,9% in August 2023 and -2,0% in July 2023. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 0,7% in the third quarter of 2023 compared with the second quarter of 2023.
Electricity distribution (consumption) decreased by 1,2% year-on-year in September 2023. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 1,9% month-on-month in September 2023, following month-on-month changes of 0,9% in August 2023 and -2,2% in July 2023. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,3% in the third quarter of 2023 compared with the second quarter of 2023.
