Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, August 2023
Electricity generation (production) decreased by 6,4% year-on-year in August 2023. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 0,9% in August 2023 compared with July 2023. This followed month-on-month changes of -2,1% in July 2023 and 4,1% in June 2023. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 1,0% in the three months ended August 2023 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) decreased by 6,5%
year-on-year in August 2023. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution
increased by 0,9% month-on-month in August 2023, following month-on-month
changes of -2,3% in July 2023 and 3,8% in June 2023. Seasonally adjusted
electricity distribution increased by 1,1% in the three months ended August
2023 compared with the previous three months.
