Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, July 2023
Electricity generation (production) decreased by 3,4% year-on-year in July 2023. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 2,4% in July 2023 compared with June 2023. This followed month-on-month changes of 4,2% in June 2023 and -0,8% in May 2023. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 0,4% in the three months ended July 2023 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) decreased by 3,1% year-on-year in July 2023. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 2,6% month-on-month in July 2023, following month-on-month changes of 3,8% in June 2023 and 0,3% in May 2023. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,4% in the three months ended July 2023 compared with the previous three months.
