Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, May 2023
Electricity generation (production) decreased by 9,0%
year-on-year in May 2023. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased
by 0,9% in May 2023 compared with April 2023. This followed month-on-month
changes of ‑4,3% in April 2023 and 4,0% in March 2023. Seasonally adjusted
electricity generation increased by 0,3% in the three months ended May 2023
compared with the previous three months.
Electricity
distribution (consumption) decreased by 7,8% year-on-year in May 2023.
Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,1% month-on-month
in May 2023, following month-on-month changes of -4,6% in April 2023 and 4,8%
in March 2023. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,5%
in the three months ended May 2023 compared with the previous three months.
