Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, April 2023
Electricity generation (production) decreased by 8,6% year-on-year in April 2023. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 4,3% in April 2023 compared with March 2023. This followed month-on-month changes of 4,0% in March 2023 and -1,0% in February 2023. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 1,0% in the three months ended April 2023 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity
distribution (consumption) decreased by 8,1% year-on-year in April 2023.
Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 4,6% month-on-month
in April 2023, following month-on-month changes of 4,8% in March 2023 and -2,2%
in February 2023. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by
1,3% in the three months ended April 2023 compared with the previous three
months.
