Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, January 2023
Electricity generation (production) decreased by 8,0% year-on-year in January 2023. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 1,3% in January 2023 compared with December 2022. This followed month-on-month changes of -5,6% in December 2022 and 1,5% in November 2022. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 2,8% in the three months ended January 2023 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) decreased by 7,3%
year-on-year in January 2023. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution
increased by 1,4% month-on-month in January 2023, following month-on-month
changes of ‑4,2% in December 2022 and 0,6% in November 2022. Seasonally
adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 2,7% in the three months ended
January 2023 compared with the previous three months.
