Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, July 2022
Electricity generation
(production) decreased by 7,7% year-on-year in July 2022. Seasonally adjusted
electricity generation decreased by 3,2% in July 2022 compared with June 2022.
This followed month-on-month changes of -0,4% in June 2022 and -0,6% in May
2022. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 3,0% in the three
months ended July 2022 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) decreased by 6,2% year-on-year in July 2022. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 3,3% month-on-month in July 2022, following month-on-month changes of 0,0% in June 2022 and -0,5% in May 2022. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 2,0% in the three months ended July 2022 compared with the previous three months.
