Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, April 2022
Electricity generation (production) decreased by 3,7% year-on-year in April 2022. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 1,0% in April 2022 compared with March 2022. This followed month-on-month changes of 0,0% in March 2022 and 1,3% in February 2022. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 1,5% in the three months ended April 2022 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity
distribution (consumption) decreased by 2,0% year-on-year in April 2022.
Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 0,4% month-on-month
in April 2022, following month-on-month changes of 0,3% in March 2022 and -0,1%
in February 2022. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by
0,8% in the three months ended April 2022 compared with the previous three
months.
