Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, January 2022
Electricity generation (production) decreased by 1,1% year-on-year in January 2022. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 0,7% in January 2022 compared with December 2021. This followed month-on-month changes of 1,6% in December 2021 and -0,6% in November 2021. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 2,1% in the three months ended January 2022 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) decreased by 0,2% year-on-year in
January 2022. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,9%
month-on-month in January 2022, following month-on-month changes of 1,8% in
December 2021 and 0,4% in November 2021. Seasonally adjusted electricity
distribution decreased by 1,3% in the three months ended January 2022 compared
with the previous three months.
