Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, August 2021
Electricity generation (production) increased by 2,0% year-on-year in August 2021. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 0,2% in August 2021 compared with July 2021. This followed month-on-month changes of 0,7% in July 2021 and -1,5% in June 2021. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 0,4% in the three months ended August 2021 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) increased by 2,2% year-on-year in August 2021. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,9% month-on-month in August 2021, following month-on-month changes of 1,9% in July 2021 and -2,2% in June 2021. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 0,2% in the three months ended August 2021 compared with the previous three months.Media Contact
