Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, May 2021
Electricity generation (production) increased by 12,1% year-on-year in
May 2021. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 0,7% in May
2021 compared with April 2021. This followed month-on-month changes of 1,0% in
April 2021 and 0,4% in March 2021. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation
increased by 1,9% in the three months ended May 2021 compared with the previous
three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) increased by 12,3% year-on-year in May 2021. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,8% month-on-month in May 2021, following month-on-month changes of 0,4% in April 2021 and 0,6% in March 2021. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 1,2% in the three months ended May 2021 compared with the previous three months.
