Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, April 2021
Electricity generation (production) increased by 25,6% year-on-year in
April 2021. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 0,9% in
April 2021 compared with March 2021. This followed month-on-month changes of
0,5% in March 2021 and 2,2% in February 2021. Seasonally adjusted electricity
generation increased by 1,2% in the three months ended April 2021 compared with
the previous three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) increased by 25,7% year-on-year in April 2021. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,4% month-on-month in April 2021, following month-on-month changes of 0,7% in March 2021 and 1,3% in February 2021. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,6% in the three months ended April 2021 compared with the previous three months.
