Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, March 2021
Electricity generation (production) increased by 1,8% year-on-year in
March 2021. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 0,3% in
March 2021 compared with February 2021. This followed month-on-month changes of
2,2% in February 2021 and -2,5% in January 2021. Seasonally adjusted
electricity generation decreased by 0,6% in the first quarter of 2021 compared
with the fourth quarter of 2020.
Electricity distribution (consumption) increased by 3,0% year-on-year in March 2021. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,5% month-on-month in March 2021, following month-on-month changes of 1,2% in February 2021 and -2,3% in January 2021. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 0,7% in the first quarter of 2021 compared with the fourth quarter of 2020.
