Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, January 2021
Electricity generation
(production) decreased by 3,2% year-on-year in January 2021. Seasonally
adjusted electricity generation decreased by 2,5% in January 2021 compared with
December 2020. This followed month-on-month changes of 0,2% in December 2020
and 0,5% in November 2020. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased
by 0,4% in the three months ended January 2021 compared with the previous three
months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) decreased by 2,4% year-on-year in January 2021. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 2,3% month-on-month in January 2021, following month-on-month changes of 0,6% in December 2020 and 0,3% in November 2020. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 0,4% in the three months ended January 2021 compared with the previous three months.
