Electricity generated and available for distribution August 2018
Electricity generation (production) decreased by 0,4% year-on-year in August 2018. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 0,6% in August 2018 compared with July 2018. This followed month-on-month changes of 0,1% in July 2018 and -1,2% in June 2018. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 0,7% in the three months ended August 2018 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) increased by 1,2% year-on-year in August 2018. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,4% month-on-month in August 2018, following month-on-month changes of 0,5% in July 2018 and -1,9% in June 2018. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 0,1% in the three months ended August 2018 compared with the previous three months.
