Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, January 2018
Electricity generation (production) increased by 2,4% year-on-year in January 2018. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 0,5% in January 2018 compared with December 2017. This followed month-on-month changes of -0,6% in December 2017 and 0,8% in November 2017. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 1,1% in the three months ended January 2018 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) increased by 1,2% year-on-year in January 2018. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution was flat month-on-month in January 2018, following month-on-month changes of 0,2% in December 2017 and 0,5% in November 2017. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,8% in the three months ended January 2018 compared with the previous three months.
