Electricity generated and available for distribution August 2017
Electricity generation (production) increased by 0,8% year-on-year in August 2017. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 1,3% in August 2017 compared with July 2017. This followed month-on-month changes of -1,4% in July 2017 and -3,0% in June 2017. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 1,5% in the three months ended August 2017 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) increased by 1,7% year-on-year in August 2017. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 1,7% month-on-month in August 2017, following month-on-month changes of
-1,4% in July 2017 and -2,7% in June 2017. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 1,8% in the three months ended August 2017 compared with the previous three months.
