Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, March 2017
Electricity generation (production) increased by 2,7% year-on-year in March 2017. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 0,7% in March 2017 compared with February 2017. This followed month-on-month changes of -0,8% in February 2017 and -0,5% in January 2017. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 0,9% in the first quarter of 2017 compared with fourth quarter of 2016.
Electricity distribution (consumption) increased by 2,7% year-on-year in March 2017. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,9% month-on-month in March 2017, following month-on-month changes of 0,1% in February 2017 and -0,3% in January 2017. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution was stable at 0,0% in the first quarter of 2017 compared with fourth quarter of 2016.
