Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, January 2017
Electricity generation (production) increased by 0,8% year-on-year in January 2017. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 0,6% in January 2017 compared with December 2016. This followed month-on-month changes of 0,2% in December 2016 and -0,4% in November 2016. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 0,3% in the three months ended January 2017 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) decreased by 0,6% year-on-year in January 2017. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 0,3% month-on-month in January 2017, following month-on-month changes of 0,1% in December 2016 and -0,5% in November 2016. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,3% in the three months ended January 2017 compared with the previous three months.
