Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, September 2016
Electricity generation (production) increased by 1,1% year-on-year in September 2016. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 0,6% in September 2016 compared with August 2016. This followed month-on-month changes of -0,5% in August 2016 and 0,7% in July 2016. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 0,4% in the third quarter of 2016 compared with the second quarter of 2016.
Electricity distribution (consumption) decreased by 0,7% year-on-year in September 2016. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,2% month-on-month in September 2016, following month-on-month changes of -0,6% in August 2016 and 0,4% in July 2016. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 0,4% in the third quarter of 2016 compared with the second quarter of 2016.
