Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, August 2016
Electricity generation (production) increased by 3,8% year-on-year in August 2016. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 0,5% in August 2016 compared with July 2016. This followed month-on-month changes of 0,7% in July 2016 and 0,0% in June 2016. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 1,0% in the three months ended August 2016 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) increased by 1,6% year-on-year in August 2016. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 0,6% month-on-month in August 2016, following month-on-month changes of 0,4% in July 2016 and -1,0% in June 2016. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 0,6% in the three months ended August 2016 compared with the previous three months.
