Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, May 2016
Electricity generation (production) increased by 1,0% year-on-year in May 2016. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 0,8% in May 2016 compared with April 2016. This followed month-on-month changes of 0,3% in April 2016 and -1,6% in March 2016. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 0,9% in the three months ended May 2016 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) decreased by 0,8% year-on-year in May 2016. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 0,6% month-on-month in May 2016, following month-on-month changes of -0,3% in April 2016 and -0,4% in March 2016. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 0,6% in the three months ended May 2016 compared with the previous three months.
