Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, March 2016
Electricity generation (production) decreased by 4,3% year-on-year in March 2016. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 1,8% in March 2016 compared with February 2016. This followed month-on-month changes of 1,1% in February 2016 and -1,3% in January 2016. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 0,1% in the first quarter of 2016 compared with the fourth quarter of 2015.
Electricity distribution (consumption) decreased by 5,7% year-on-year in March 2016. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 0,5% month-on-month in March 2016, following month-on-month changes of 0,2% in February 2016 and -1,3% in January 2016. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 1,0% in the first quarter of 2016 compared with the fourth quarter of 2015.
