Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, January 2016
Electricity generation (production) decreased by 2,2% year-on-year in January 2016. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation decreased by 1,3% in January 2016 compared with December 2015. This followed month-on-month changes of 1,0% in December 2015 and 1,3% in November 2015. Seasonally adjusted electricity generation increased by 2,0% in the three months ended January 2016 compared with the previous three months.
Electricity distribution (consumption) decreased by 3,2% year-on-year in January 2016. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution decreased by 1,2% month-on-month in January 2016, following month-on-month changes of 0,3% in December 2015 and 0,4% in November 2015. Seasonally adjusted electricity distribution increased by 1,4% in the three months ended January 2016 compared with the previous three months.
