Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, April 2012

Seasonally adjusted electricity consumption decreased by 3,1% for the three months ended April 2012 compared with the previous three months. A month-on-month decrease of 1,2% was recorded for April 2012, following a month-on-month decrease of 2,1% in March 2012.

A year-on-year decrease of 5,5% in the actual volume of electricity consumption was recorded for April 2012.

Seasonally adjusted electricity production decreased by 2,7% for the three months ended April 2012 compared with the previous three months. A month-on-month decrease of 1,7% was recorded for April 2012, following a month-on-month decrease of 1,6% in March 2012.

The actual estimated electricity production recorded a year-on-year decrease of 6,0% for April 2012.
