Electricity generated and available for distribution
June 2011
The actual volume of electricity consumed increased by 0,6% (124 Gigawatt-hours) year-on-year in June 2011. Electricity consumption for the second quarter of 2011 increased by 1,8% (1 106 Gigawatt-hours) compared with the second quarter of 2010. Seasonally adjusted electricity consumption for the second quarter of 2011 compared with the preceding quarter remained stable.
The actual estimated electricity production rose by 0,6% year-on-year in June 2011. The estimated electricity production for the second quarter of 2011 increased by 2,2% compared with the second quarter of 2010. However, seasonally adjusted electricity production in the second quarter of 2011 decreased marginally by 0,1% compared with the first quarter of 2011.
