Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, August 2009
Electricity consumption after seasonal adjustment for the three months ended August 2009 increased by 2,6% compared with the preceding three months. However, the actual estimated consumption of electricity was 1,6% lower in August 2009 compared with August 2008 and 4,8% lower in the first eight months of 2009 compared with the first eight months of 2008
Estimated seasonally adjusted production of electricity for the three months ended August 2009 increased by 2,7% compared with the previous three months. The estimated production of electricity for the three months ended August 2009 decreased by 2,3% compared with the corresponding three months of 2008.
