Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, April 2009
The estimated consumption of electricity in April 2009 decreased by 6,2% (-1 190 Gigawatt-hours) compared with April 2008. Electricity consumed for the first four months of 2009 decreased by 7,0% (-5 343 Gigawatt-hours) compared with the first four months of 2008. Electricity consumption after seasonal adjustment for April 2009 increased by 2,0% compared with March 2009.
The estimated production of electricity in April 2009 decreased by 5,7% (-1 188 Gigawatt-hours) compared with April 2008. The estimated production of electricity for the first four months of 2009 decreased by 8,1% (-6 848 Gigawatt-hours) compared with the first four months of 2008.
