Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, March 2009
The estimated consumption of electricity in March 2009 decreased by 4,6% (-905 Gigawatt-hours) compared with March 2008. Electricity consumed for the first quarter of 2009 decreased by 7,2% (-4 153 Gigawatt-hours) compared with the first quarter of 2008. Electricity consumption after seasonal adjustment for March 2009 increased by 2,6% compared with February 2009.
The estimated production of electricity in March 2009 decreased by 6,0% compared with March 2008. The estimated production of electricity for the first quarter of 2009 decreased by 8,9% (-5 660 Gigawatt-hours) compared with the first quarter of 2008.
