Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, February 2009
The estimated consumption of electricity in February 2009 decreased by 10,2% (-1 910 Gigawatt-hours) compared with February 2008. Electricity consumed for the three months ending February 2009 decreased by 8,5% (-4 871 Gigawatt-hours) compared with the three months ending February 2008. Electricity consumption after seasonal adjustment for February 2009 decreased by 0,5% compared with January 2009.
The estimated production of electricity in February 2009 decreased by 11,2% compared with February 2008. The estimated production of electricity for the three months ending February 2009 decreased by 10,5% (-6 627 Gigawatt-hours) compared with the three months ending February 2008.
