Key findings: P4141 - Electricity generated and available for distribution, December 2008
During 2008, both estimated consumption and production of electricity decreased by 2,2% and 2,0% respectively compared to the year 2007. There was also decreases of 10,4% and 8,4% respectively for the estimated consumption and production of electricity for December 2008 compared to December 2007.
The estimated production of electricity, after seasonal adjustment, decreased by 3,6% for the fourth quarter of 2008 compared with the third quarter of 2008. Also, the estimated consumption of electricity after seasonal adjusted, decreased by 4,5% compared with the third quarter of 2008.
