Key findings: P3041.2 - Manufacturing: Production and sales, November 2015
Manufacturing production decreased by 1,0% in November 2015 compared with November 2014. This was mainly due to lower production in the basic iron and steel, non-ferrous metal products, metal products and machinery division (-7,0% and contributing -1,3 percentage points).
Seasonally adjusted manufacturing production decreased by 1,2% in November 2015 compared with October 2015. This followed month-on-month changes of -1,7% in October 2015 and 2,3% in September 2015.
In the three months ended November 2015, seasonally adjusted manufacturing production increased by 0,9% compared with the previous three months. Six of the ten manufacturing divisions reported positive growth rates over this period.
The main contributor to the 0,9% increase was the petroleum, chemical products, rubber and plastic products division (5,9% and contributing 1,3 percentage points).
