Key findings: P3041.2 - Manufacturing: Production and sales, September 2010
Seasonally adjusted manufacturing production decreased by 1,5% in the third quarter of 2010 compared with the second quarter of 2010. Five of the ten manufacturing divisions reported negative growth rates over this period.
The decrease was driven by lower production in the motor vehicles, parts and accessories and other transport equipment division (-11,8% and contributing -1,2 percentage points), the basic iron and steel, non-ferrous metal products, metal products and machinery division (-4,9% and contributing -1,0 percentage point), the furniture and
