Key findings: P3041.2 - Manufacturing: Production and sales, July 2006
The estimated manufacturing production for the first seven months of 2006 increased by 4,6% compared with the first seven months of 2005. In addition, the estimated seasonally adjusted manufacturing production for the three months ended July 2006 increased by 2,9% compared with the previous three months, which is higher than the growth of 0,4% reported during the same period in 2005.
The estimated total value of sales of manufactured products at current prices for the three months ended July 2006 increased by 7,9% (+R17 530 million), after seasonal adjustment, compared with the previous three months.
