Key findings: P3041.2 - Manufacturing: Production and sales, May 2006
The estimated manufacturing production for the first five months of 2006 increased notably by 4,1% compared with the first five months of 2005.
However, manufacturing production after seasonal adjustment remained on the same level for the latest three months ended May 2006 compared with the previous three months.
The estimated total value of sales of manufactured products at current prices for the three months ended May 2006 increased by 1,9% (+R4 280 million), after seasonal adjustment, compared with the previous three months.
