Key findings: P2041 - Mining: Production and sales, August 2007
The total mining production for the three months ended August 2007 decreased by 1,5% compared with the three months ended August 2006. Furthermore, the actual total mining production for August 2007 decreased by 3,1% compared with August 2006.
The total seasonally adjusted value of mineral sales at current prices for the three months ended July 2007 reflected a decrease of 4,0% compared with the previous three months. The actual total value of mineral sales at current prices for the three months ended July 2007 increased by 16,1% compared with the three months ended July 2006.
