IMPROVING LIVES THROUGH DATA ECOSYSTEMS

In July 2020, 202 937 travellers (arrivals, departures, and transits) passed through South Africa’s ports of entry/exit. They were made up of 63 557 South African residents and 139 380 foreign travellers. Foreign travellers were made up 68 914 arrivals, 70 413 departures and 53 were on transit. The breakdown of the foreign arrivals by region is as follows: 873 from overseas; 67 869 from the SADC countries; 119 from 'other' African countries and the country of residence of 53 foreign arrivals was classified as unspecified.
