In November 2015, there were 1 305 140 foreign arrivals to South Africa. The arrivals were made up of 102 602 non-visitors and 1 202 538 visitors. The visitors consisted of 428 160 same-day visitors and 774 378 overnight visitors (tourists). The breakdown of the tourists by region is as follows: 221 149 from overseas; 535 911 from the SADC countries; 16 016 from 'other' African countries and the country of residence of 1 302 tourists was classified as unspecified.
