In June 2015, there were 1 087 067 foreign arrivals to South Africa. The arrivals were made up of 80 468 non-visitors and 1 006 599 visitors. The visitors consisted of 396 507 same-day visitors and 610 092 overnight visitors (tourists). The breakdown of the tourists by region is as follows: 113 689 from overseas; 482 523 from the SADC countries; 12 620 from 'other' African countries and the country of residence of 1 260 tourists was classified as unspecified.
