In November 2014, there were 1 262 450 foreign arrivals to South Africa. The arrivals were made up of 34 800 non-visitors and 1 227 650 visitors. The visitors consist of 401 487 same-day visitors and 826 163 overnight visitors (tourists). The breakdown of the tourists by region is as follows: 207 801 from overseas; 599 046 from the SADC countries; 17 565 from other African countries. The country of residence of 1 751 tourists was classified as unspecified.
