In March 2014, there were 1 227 853 foreign arrivals to South Africa. The arrivals were made up of 62 326 non-visitors and 1 165 527 visitors. The visitors consist of 413 711 same-day visitors and 751 816 overnight visitors (tourists). The breakdown of the tourists by region is as follows: 207 093 from overseas; 527 675 from the SADC countries; 16 131 from "other" African countries and 917 tourists was classified as unspecified.
