In November 2013, there were 1 338 809 foreign arrivals to South Africa. The arrivals were made up of 59 472 non-visitors and 1 279 337 visitors. The visitors consist of 444 140 same-day visitors and 835 197 overnight visitors (tourists). The breakdown of the tourists by region is as follows: 264 036 from overseas; 546 906 from the SADC countries; 21 081 from 'other' African countries. The country of residence of 3 174 tourists were classified as unspecified.
