In June 2013, there were 1 109 391 foreign arrivals to South Africa. The arrivals were made up of 63 019 non-visitors and 1 046 372 visitors. The visitors consist of 369 287 same-day visitors and 677 085 overnight visitors (tourists). The breakdown of the tourists by region is as follows: 156 563 from overseas; 502 470 from the SADC countries; 16 631 from 'other' African countries. The country of residence of 1 421 tourists were classified as unspecified.
